Collection: Easter decorations

Easter is a colorful and joyful holiday. Homes are decorated with easter feathers, easter eggs, and chickens. Children dress up as Easter bunnies and go from house to house to get candy, similar to Halloween.

The Easter table is filled with delicacies such as eggs, herring, salmon and påskmust (a traditional Swedish soda, withcreated from a recipie that is a closely guarded secret). Many families also have the tradition of painting and decorating eggs. Easter Day is celebrated with a big family dinner and often an egg hunt for the smaller children.

For many, Easter is a time for reflection and church attendance, especially on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. It is a time to spend time with loved ones, enjoy good food, and welcome spring.
